"New cargo for the 'Cataraft' a 'Woolly Mammoth tusk' in near perfect condition and no cracks. As a sculptor I work exclusively on these 'found' tusks and sell them for my living and finance to return to these areas for future expeditions." "These are special moments with the discoveries that are given to me, I camp every evening in a different gravel bar in a land that has changed little in the last ten thousand years"

  1. Dear Bill,

Hello, my name is Branden Dashiell and I stumbled onto your blog while doing research regarding searching for wooly mammoth tusks in Alaska and Siberia. I want to find out as much as possible about the subject, in the hopes on embarking on an expedition of my own. I am hoping that perhaps we can have an email correspondence. You seem like a very busy person but perhaps you could even offer a few tips. For example, do you know of any expeditions that would be open for someone like me to join? I hope to hear back from you, and I really respect what you are doing. My email address is: bjdashiell@gmail.com

    Happy Trails!

    Branden
